THE PONENTIA INDUSTRIAL AND LOGISTICS PLATFORM BECOMES A NEW MEMBER OF FERRMED.

PONENTIA LOGISTICS S.A. and FERRMED will collaborate together to enhance rail freight transportation and foster business relationships in all aspects, aiming to achieve better optimization of the entire logistics chain. This includes appropriate intermodality, cost reduction, increased quality, environmental respect, suitable transit times, and improved management procedures in the transportation system, within the framework of 5G and the Circular Economy.

The nonprofit multisectoral association FERRMED was founded by the private sector in Brussels on August 5, 2004, with the goal of improving rail freight transportation and industrial competitiveness in Europe and neighboring countries.

The purpose of this platform is to promote exchange and cooperation among major logistic and industrial hubs as part of an initiative to significantly enhance the connectivity and efficiency of rail and multimodal freight transportation between the Peninsula and the European Union. Companies, research and development centers, as well as railway and logistics operators, are invited to participate in this operation, which will be supported by FERRMED Multisectoral Working Groups
