identified a potential demand for the transport of unaccompanied semi-trailers by rail (<em>ferroutage<\/em>) between Spain and various European destinations. Specifically, shipments are being planned from the new terminal at <strong>PONENTIA<\/strong> in Tamarite de Litera, and the terminals of <em>Calais<\/em> (in the north of France) and <em>Rungis <\/em>(in the Paris area in France). Contact is also being made with other European terminals in order to accommodate transits according to the needs detected.<\/p><p>These rail transport services would be <strong>MULTICLIENT<\/strong> Y <strong>MULTIPRODUCT<\/strong>They meet the needs of different intermodal transport units (dry freight containers and tank containers of various sizes, swap bodies, semi-trailers, etc.).<\/p><p>Faced with this new scenario, <strong>PONENTIA<\/strong> y <strong>CAPTRAIN<\/strong> present this project of <strong>Railway Motorway<\/strong> in order to meet the needs of current and potential customers of the rail transport service, and therefore call on <strong>ADIF<\/strong> their inclusion in the gauge compatibility analyses in the <strong>General Interest Railway Network<\/strong>. Specifically; the sections Tamarite de Litera-Cerbere and Tamarite de Litera-Hendaye.<\/p><p>Currently <strong>CAPTRAIN SPAIN<\/strong> already operates several daily intermodal and rail motorway connections in Spain with connections to the rest of Europe.<\/p><p><strong>PONENTIA<\/strong> will build an industrial and logistics platform associated with the operation of a railway terminal for intermodal units and semi-trailers in Tamarite de Litera.
